4 cooked chorizo links, cut into 1/2-inch slices

5 cloves garlic, slivered, or to taste

35 dates, sliced open and pitted

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Place a chorizo piece and a few garlic slivers inside each date. Close each date using a toothpick. Arrange the stuffed dates on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven until heated through, about 10 minutes.
